IT Technician

Responsibilities :
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of office systems (for Windows), software or technical equipment as relevant to the position.
- Capacity to work cooperatively with a range of people including teachers, education support officers, students and parents.
- Possess the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.
- An ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including members of the community, students, teachers and other professionals.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide advice and support to management in respect to the work area.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and growth for both self and others.
- Knowledge of or a willingness to learn about IT products, including servers.
- Demonstrated ability to organise, plan and prioritise workload, display initiative and self-motivation in order to complete tasks accurately and within the given timeframes. Flexibility in coping with unstructured and ad hoc tasks and requests is also a necessity.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills including the ability to negotiate and liaise with clients, staff, students and external providers.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently as a member of a team, or individually, including the ability to work with staff from diverse backgrounds and participate in a safe workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
Role Responsibilities:
- General maintenance of ICT equipment, server, Wi-Fi, network, tablets, computers, laptops, CCTV, digital access products and other IT related products.
- To support the management of Staff and Student Network file server access and Active Directory accounts.
- To monitor all network equipment to ensure it is running effectively and if there was a fault to report it to the Management Advisory Team.
- To maintain all staff desktops, laptops and other devices to ensure they can effectively connect to all network resources.
- To support the management of all software and windows updates for Desktop, Laptops and other software related tasks.
- Provide ICT suggestions and input on a regular basis.
- Improve personal ICT related skills, knowledge and understanding by personal development.
Requirements:
- Male, Age 28 -35 years old.
- Educational : Bachelor Degree on Information Technology (IT).
- Having experience in networking LAN/ WAN.
- Trouble Shooting PC, Printer and other peripherals is a must.
- Having a good Knowledge on Lotus Notes, AS 400 would be an advantage.
- Good command in English.
- Able to work under pressure, Excellent teamwork.
- Can join immediately
